Ennis takes the Bronze at the James River Trail 8 Miler09/29/12 - Jenn Ennis places 3rd at the James River Trail 8 Miler with a time of 57:39. The 8 Miler is part of a large cross country festival that starts and ends in Maymont Park. High Schools from all over the country particpated in this weekends festivities.
Dawes places second in Run for the Cuture Lucy Corr Village 5k09/22/12 - Sarah Dawes places second at the Lucy Corr 5k this past weekend in Chesterfield, VA. Dawes ran a time of 20:11. NC State alum Jessie Yester won the race in 17:07.
Sarah Dawes and Ryan Murphy compete at 40th Falmouth Road Race
08/14/12 - Sarah Dawes and Ryan Murphy competed in this weekend's 40th Anniversary New Balance Falmouth Road Race. The road race, which takes place in Falmouth, Mass., played host to 11,000 runners. Murphy placed 67th, running the 7-mile race in 39:03. Murphy came through his 10k split faster than his Monument Avenue 10k. Dawes was 92nd in the female division, running 49:33. Despite wet and humid conditions, both runners ran great and represented NB Richond well!

Jon Molz wins Moonlight 4 Miler
08/09/12 - Jon Molz took home the gold at the Moonlight 4 Miler this weekend, winning by over one minute. The Moonlight 4 Miler, which takes place in Goochland, had just over 200 finishers in this year's race.

07/21/12 - Congratulations to Jon Molz and Sarah Dawes who competed in the Crystal City Twilighter 5k in Arlington, VA this Saturday. Molz took home 7th place running 15:43 while Dawes placed 19th running 20:14. Molz was a member of the runner up team in the team category.
NB Retail racers take top spots at Xterra Fugitve 10k
06/09/12 - Jason Dowdy took home top honors at the Xterra Fugitive 10k on Saturday in a time of 38:02 for the challenging course through the Northbank trail system. Following Dowdy was NB Delaware's Mark Hannagan who took home second running 38:52. Dowdy placed second at last year's Xterra Fugitive 21k.
Molz races Loudin Street Mile
05/28/12 - It seems long road races are over rated this season as we see a crop of shorter, faster road races emerging! Jon Molz raced the Loudin Street Mile this weekend, palcing 9th with a time of 4:18. The Memorial Day race takes place in Winchester and had over 250 participants this year.
NB Richmond rounds out the top spots at the Round Hill Hometown Festival 5k
05/26/12 - NB Richmond racing team members Ryan Murphy and Sarah Dawes took home some hardware at the Roundhill 5k in Roundhill, VA this weekend. Dawes was the overall winner on the female division, running 20:11 and Murphy took home second place overall in 16:35.

05/19/12 - The RiverRock festival held at Brown's Island in downtown Richmond has continually grown each year and is officially one of the biggest outdoor festivals in the country! This year NB Richmond racers represented Richmond well with Jenn Ennis placing third in the James River Scramble 10k and Jason Dowdy finished 11th, winning his age group. Dowdy also won the Miller Lite Filthy 5k the previous night, another RiverRock-sanctioned event.

NB Richmond racers take on the Carytown 10k
05/06/12 - NB Richmond racers Sarah Dawes, Jason Dowdy, and Jenn Ennis all competed in the Carytown 10k this Saturday. Dowdy placed second overall in a time of 34:31. Ennis placed third overall for women, running 39:28 and Dawes placed second in her age group, running 40:57.

04/28/12 - Jason Dowdy won the CASA Superhero 5k this past weekend in a time of 16:56, traversing the course five seconds faster than the next competitor. Dowdy donned a cape and mask to play off the 5k theme during his race. We think he should wear this more often! What do you think?

04/21/12 - Dowdy won the CrossOver Challenge 15k in Richmond this past weekend, clocking in a time of 54:18. Dowdy was the first of 123 finishers in this year's race.
Dowdy places second in Henrico 5k
04/07/12 - Jason Dowdy placed second on Saturday's Henrico 5k, sneaking in just under 17 minutes in 16:59. This was only seven days after Dowdy's stellar performance at the Monument Avenue 10k where he ran 33:57.

03/31/12 - Congratulations to all five NB Richmond racing team members who competed in this year's Monument Avenue 10k. This was the first race that all five members competed in together. NB Richmond had a strong showing with Jon Molz (31:28) and Ryan Murphy (31:22) who placed 13th and 14th overall, respectively. Molz also nabbed third place in the top Richmond finisher category. Team member Jason Dowdy also ran in an outstanding time of 33:57, placing second in his age group.
On the women's division, Jenn Ennis placed 12th overall with a time of 38:19, also taking home third place in hte top Richmond finisher category. Newest team member Sarah Dawes ran her first 10k ever in a time of 41:15, placing 10th in her age group.

03/27/12 - NB Richmond is proud to announce Sarah Dawes as the newest member to our team. Sarah is an accomplished runner from Maryland who went on to compete in college at Mary Washington. Her PR's include 2:18 for the 800 and 5:26 for the mile.
NB Richmond rocks Holton Elementary 5k
03/03/12 - Jon Molz and Ryan Murphy took the top honors at the Holton Elementary 5k this Saturday. With an enticing prize purse of $250 to the top finisher, the race brought in fast winning times among both the men's and women's divisions. Molz ran a blistering 15:20 to take first with Murphy trailing only 18 seconds behind in 15:38.

2/12/12 - Temperatures were frigid and we even got a little snow this weekend but that did not stop NB Richmond team members from competing. On Saturday, Ryan Murphy and NB employee Sarah Dawes entered the couples competition at the Amnesty 5k in Charlottesville. Murphy took home the silver in a time of 16:02 while Dawes placed fourth in the women's division in 19:58. This was Dawes's first race since graduating from Mary Washington last spring. Their combined performances put them in second place in the couples contest. The winning couple won both
individual titles.
On Sunday, Jon Molz stayed local and ran the Sweetheart 8k in Midlothian. Molz won the race in 26:30, running over a minute fater than the next competitor.

Dowdy wins Six in the Sticks Chili Run
2/4/12 - Jason Dowdy won the Six in the Sticks 6-mile Chili run today in a time of 40:07. The race took place at Forest Hill Park and comprised both trails and roads. Every participant recieved a celebratory soup mug filled with chili upon finishing!

01/22/12 - Ryan Murphy ran away with the gold in this past weekend's Frostbite
15k. Murphy won with an outstanding time of 49:52. Jenn Ennis placed third on
the women's side with a time of 58:37. Conditions were cold and a light rain
welcomed the runners on race day. There were over 600 finishers in this year's
race.

NB Richmond racers kick off the New Year with victories
01/01/12 - NB Richmond runners Jon Molz and Ryan Murphy celebrated the new year by running two different races in Richmond. Molz won the Resolution Run 4 Miler in 20:25 on December 31st, outrunning the next competitor by nearly 2 minutes. Murphy won the First Day 5k the following day in a time of 16:37. This was Murphy's first race for NBR.
